We proudly present the World of Images Intercollegiate Photo Contest for the 12th consecutive year. Since 2011, the CCDMD has hosted this contest, which aims to encourage the next generation of photographers and foster the production and sharing of high-quality photographs in the educational sector.
The contest is open to all students and employees of Quebec college network institutions, where $3,000 in grants will be awarded to the winning students. The contest is judged by a jury made up of professionals and chaired by a renowned photographer. This year, the honorary chair is Caroline Hayeur, photographer.
The 12th edition of the contest will start on September 12, 2022. Participants have the option to submit up to 5 photographs. Files must be uploaded directly to the World of Images website by March 8, 2023.

The contest by the numbers
Since the first contest (2011-2012):
- More than 17,000 photographs have been submitted by 3,100 students and 25 employees from 65 institutions in the Quebec college network;
- 66 winners have received $31,000 in grants;
- 45 participants have received honourable mentions;
- 8 exhibitions have been held in colleges and CEGEPS.
