Although the February cold was bitter that day, the event was very warm and festive. Indeed, surrounded by students from current and past cohorts, the author presented her new work to approximately twenty guests, including Ms. Isabelle Tremblay, director of studies at Cégep de Lévis.
The launch also took place in one of the college laboratories where the chemical engineering instructor teaches. Procédés de séparation is a textbook intended for people studying Industrial Process Techniques. It is the first French-language work on these methods explaining the theoretical notions necessary for understanding the physical and chemical phenomena surrounding separation processes. The work is mainly aimed at the acquisition of two skills: “Controlling separation systems” and “Analyzing the functioning of typical industrial processes.”

The CCDMD congratulates Ms. Tibirna on this work, as well as the entire production team, which collaborated with Hélène Lévesque, project manager at the CCDMD.
The CCDMD thanks Cégep de Lévis for its hospitality in holding the event within its walls.
