Invitation to a UNA-Canada presentation: Islam and the modern world

The CCDMD would like to invite you to attend a public lecture on Islam and the modern world, given by Patrice Brodeur, who is the Islam, Pluralism and Globalization Research Chair at the faculty of theology and religious science at the Université de Montréal.

The event, presented by the United Nations Association in Canada (UNA-Canada), will take place on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. in room D-R200 of the Athanase-David pavilion at the Université du Québec à Montréal at 1440 Saint-Denis in Montréal.

Entry is free, but you are asked to confirm your attendance at acnu@uqam.ca or 514-987-3000, ext. 7621. The lecture will be given in French, followed by a question period in French and English.

Mr. Brodeur’s lecture will be posted online on the CCDMD Les conférences numériques website in a few weeks.
