Starting October 24, Cathie Dugas will be replacing Emilie Plante full time, as a pedagogical advisor and project manager on the resource development team. Cathie has more than 15 years of experience in electronic communications and has just finished a mandate with the communications service at the Collège de Maisonneuve. She has a bachelor's degree in marketing from UQAM and a certificate in advertising from the UdeM and is currently pursuing graduate studies in educational technology at the Téluq.
As for Jean-Pierre Dufresne, he will be signing in on November 1 as a special projects advisor with the CCDMD management, working two days a week. Jean-Pierre Dufresne, who retired officially in December 2010 after five years on the CCDMD French Improvement team, taught French language and literature for 30 years at Cégep Marie-Victorin and was in charge of correcting the French Exit Exam in the Montreal sector for 10 years.
Congratulations to Cathie and Jean-Pierre. We wish them good luck in their new endeavours!
