Joint AQPC-CCDMD symposium on reading strategies

October 25, 2011

The AQPC and the CCDMD will offer a joint workshop on strategies to help students in higher education improve their reading comprehension of scientific and specialized texts.

From learning to read to reading to learn: Rethinking reading comprehension will be presented at Dawson College on Friday, November 11, from 9 AM to noon, in English, by Dianne Bateman, an educator in the Master Teacher Program at the Université de Sherbrooke, co-editor of The Canadian Journal of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and a member of the Collège Champlain team (St-Lambert).

The activity is offered for free thanks to financial support from the Canada-Québec Agreement on Minority Language Education.
