Change in senior management at the CCDMD

November 21, 2011

On November 14, Martin Demers, formerly the director of the IPI (Institut des procédés industriels), took the helm of the CCDMD (Centre collégial de développement de matériel didactique), replacing Bernard Dionne.

Management at Collège de Maisonneuve made the decision in light of the current budget tightening that has affected the entire CEGEP network. Dionne's non-permanent status allowed Collège de Maisonneuve to overhaul its administrative structure, assigning new responsibilities to managers already in place and permitting Dionne to step down on November 11. We would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his dedication and enthusiasm, and for his significant contribution to the CCDMD's growing reputation over the last two years. The entire CCDMD team wishes him success in his future endeavours. May he find personal and professional satisfaction, as well as stimulating challenges.

Demers has been working at Collège de Maisonneuve for 11 years, including seven as head of the IPI. His extensive experience and managerial skills will serve him well in his new responsibilities. The CCDMD wishes him a warm welcome.

Thanks, Bernard, and welcome, Martin!
