The CCDMD and Cégep de Sainte-Foy invite you to the Récolte forestière website launch. The event will take place in Québec City on Thursday, 25 November at 5:00 p.m. in the lobby of Salle Albert Rousseau, located at 2410 chemin de Sainte-Foy.
The website demonstrates how trees are harvested in Québec and the machinery used for this purpose. It is mainly geared toward forestry students enrolled in both vocational and university programs, but is equally relevant to workers in the public and private forestry sector, as well as anyone interested in Québec's forestry practices.
Danielle Babin, author of the website and teacher at Cégep de Sainte-Foy's forestry department, will present the project's evolution as well as demonstrate the website's main features.
